How Can People Improve Their Health Without Drastically Changing Their Lifestyle by Tanya

Trying to improve your health without drastically changing your life style can be challenging. If it's hard just for you, imagine a group of people trying, also. I'm not saying that it's impossible, but it just takes work.
A way to change your health is to relieve or avoid stress. Some ways are eating healthy, exercising, and remembering to take medicine.
Eating healthy means eating less junk food and eating more fruit and vegetables. Not only do they taste good, they help many parts of your body.
After you eat you need to exercise to help improve your health. Exercising can make your bones stronger. It may also calm your nerves. The results are relieving stress. Other kinds of exercise can be dance, yoga, and taking the stairs.
In general you or a group of people can improve your health without drastically altering their life style.

How Can People Improve Their Health Without Drastically Changing Their Lifestyle by Helen

There are ways of improving your health without drastically changing your lifestyle. Simply going back to the lifestyles we had in the early 60's and 70's era would do it. We need to realize that fast food is convenient but not always the right choice. We need to be able to see that we are easily influenced by magazines and television today on health choices.
Speaking of the early 60's and 70's era, growing up as a child in the early 60's and 70's was a lot of fun. We were limited to the sweets that we consumed. We ate well balanced meals. You always ate your vegetables everyday. We had healthy snacks like fruit, raisins, tea cakes made from natural ingredients. We also ate in moderation. We watched television a limited number of hours a day. The most fun part was that we got plenty of exercise. We played outdoors and would get upset when street lights came on because all children had to be back at home. Everyone always got enough rest because there were bedtimes in the 60's and 70's era.
I am in my late 40's and I realize that fast food is exactly what it is, FAST FOOD!!! It is prepared  on a second's notice. It s full of calories and sodium that in the long run are not good for your health. Even though you find it to be convenient after a hard day's work, it can weigh heavy on your bank account as well as your stomach and thighs.
It is good to be able to see and understand how much we are influenced by magazines and the media today. Magazines showcase models that are very thin wearing beautiful clothing. Magazines brainwash society into believing that a little extra weight is not healthy or attractive. The television often has advertising of fast food places which allows our judgment to say "Heah, that White Castle burger sure looks good".
In closing our society could very much change their health for the better without doing it so drastically. Simply get outside for walks and exercise. You don't have to be a kid to play in the park. Enjoy having fun. Buy snacks such as carrots that you have to peel, coconuts that you have to crack to eat. Be committed to eating breakfast everyday because it powers you up for challenges you face on a daily basis. Don't let the television and magazines cloud your judgment. You can be very healthy at 225 pounds or 150 pounds. It depends on what you put into your body. Like they say mind over matter. It really does matter how you think in your mind to make a change for the better.

What Is Health?

Health is a very important part of life. If you have bad health, it can lead to diseases, sickness or even death. When you are in good health, you are more likely to live a better longer life. There are few things I consider about health: my diet, weight and regular doctor visits.

If you have a bad diet, there are many complications that can follow later in life. Heart conditions are caused by many sources. If you eat lots of fatty foods or sweets, you may become obese or even have a stroke because of all the fat around your arteries. Also, you may weaken your body's self defense system, which helps you fight off sickness. One way to prevent this is by eathing healthier foods and/or make an eating chart.

Another factor is weight. It is appropriate for you to be at a weight for your age and height. If your weight is not enough you may develop anorexia. That's a disorder where your body does not have enough nutrients and may eventually shut down. Another factor is being too heavy, where you may have shortness of breath, get asthma or heart disease. You much maintain a healthy lifestyle without damaging your body or just do certain activities without stressing yourself.

The last thing is maintaining regular doctor visits. By doing so you will find out more about your body that you may not know. Your doctor can give you advice on helping you stay healthy. They can also do tests to find out if you have any disease or special conditions that need to be treated. By doing this you will stay on top of your health.

If you do these three things you will insure your overall health to be better. Your diets controls what you are able to do. Your weight will be how easily you can do things. Seeing your doctor will insure your wellness. Once you have all of this down-packed you will be much happier.

It's a small idiom that has a very big and nice meaning in our life. Health is a very important part in a human's life. Taking care of life is our first responsibility. First healthy eating grows healthy minds and healthy bodies. We need healthful food. Basic exams of the body are very helpful. It is important for health. Different fruits, vegetables, and meats have very helpful vitamins. After an exam, we know about our health. Some conditions need medicine, and sometimes we take care of ourselves by vitamins and fresh juices. If we can take care of our health we will have a good long life with good health.
